Ikona Venezia, on the occasion of its fortieth anniversary, opens to the public the exhibition Memory for the Future: The Villa of Dubrovnik photography Damir Fabijanić | Nude drawing Ljubo Ivančić at his headquarters in Campo del Ghetto Nuovo. You can admire the photographs of the famous photographer Damir Fabijanić (born in 1955) in dialogue with the drawings of Ljubo Ivančić (1925-2003), one of the most famous Croatian painters of the twentieth century. Fabijanić and Ivančić are brought to Venice for the first time by Živa Kraus, who has chosen guided by the observation that Fabijanić takes care of the appearance and identity of the city of art (Venice and Dubrovnik), of life in these places, of transformations and the negative effects of mass tourism on memory and the past. Ivančić is instead an example of Croatian and Mediterranean artist who in his works studies the different aspects of the value and meaning of art, and the role of the artist himself.
